Storage facility site to go ahead in Carlow despite concerns of protestors

A Lithium-Ion battery storage facility in Carlow has been given the green the light despite several protests.

10-year planning permission has been granted by the Carlow County Council for the site in Kellistown.

People living near the site had voiced concerns about the development.

It's believed that those fears were about potential dangers that could occur at the site however, the development will now go ahead.
