Teenager takes drive through a bit too literally!

Police in England say a teenager has taken the term "drive through" restaurant "a bit too literally" after crashing into a McDonalds causing extensive damage.

The crash happened in Sussex in the south-east of the country back in November.

 

Taylor Steel was driving a VW Golf which ploughed into the building at Buck Barn services, on the A24 near Horsham, around 10.25pm on 26 November.

The 19-year-old plumber, of Fairfield Way, Ashington, failed a roadside breath test for alcohol.

The teenager has been banned for two years after he was convicted of drink-driving for being three times over the limit.

He admitted to drinking alcohol in the pub before the collision happened.
