Just when you thought you've heard it all.
Gardaí in Co. Waterford had a busy afternoon today, as they caught a driver trying to avoid paying the toll.
Waterford Roads Policing Unit found this driver of a white Nissan Qashqai performing a dangerous U-Turn at the N25 Toll Plaza.
Gardaí pulled over the motorist and issued a fine to the driver for his wreckless stunt on the road.

One Twitter user replied to Garda Traffic's tweet, saying they came across a similar incident at the toll bridge in Waterford.
"Saw a guy stopped in the middle of the plaza here one day. He was counting out his change. Not surprised this happened here."
While another stated that the driver put other road users in danger.
"There is nowhere to u-turn to the opposite carriageway.... Were they going to drive against the flow on the original carriageway???? There are so many idiots on that section of road it's unreal."
