Glanbia announce new 3-year sponsorship deal with Kilkenny GAA

Kilkenny GAA have secured a new 3-year sponsorship deal with Glanbia.

The announcement was made this afternoon, 8th February 2019, at Nowlan Park where Brian Cody, Eoin Muphy and Conor Fogarty represented the Cats.

he sponsorship includes all Kilkenny hurling and football teams from Under 14 to Senior. The jersey will again include the Avonmore milk logo while all leisure wear and gear bags will carry the Glanbia logo.

Speaking at the launch, Brian Phelan, CEO Glanbia Nutritionals said “Glanbia are delighted to announce our new 3 year sponsorship deal with Kilkenny. Our sponsorship of Kilkenny is one of the longest running GAA partnership as well as being one of the most successful and we have a strong relationship between the company, county board and team management. The sponsorship is an ideal fit for Glanbia with nutrition at our core and specifically for Ireland’s No. 1 milk brand - Avonmore. I wish them continued success in the coming years.”

Also speaking at the launch, Kilkenny County Board Chairman, Jimmy Walsh, said “We in Kilkenny GAA are delighted to have a company like Glanbia as our team sponsors. We have an excellent working relationship with them and with the huge costs now involved in running our county teams it would be impossible to prepare them to the level required without the generous support of Glanbia.”
