Emergency services are attending the scene of a multiple-car collision in Waterford city which is causing major disruption in the area.
The accident occurred on the Butlerstown Roundabout on the Outer Ring Road in Waterford this morning, Wednesday, November 16th.
There was heavy fog in the area at the time of the incident.
It is understood that the road will be closed for a number of hours with local diversions in place.

Any injuries sustained are not believed to be serious.
Drivers are also being urged to allow extra time this morning because of lingering heavy fog in some areas.
