Golf shorts to be allowed in pro competitions

There's a new reason to watch golf, as the sport is allowing players to strip off a bit.

Some of the world's top golfers have been allowed to wear shorts for some competitions, so they can show a little more leg.

It could be the start of a slippery slope for long trousers, although shorts are only allowed in practice rounds so far.

It's after the European Ryder Cup Captain Darren Clarke requested they be allowed wear shorts, which was denied, but he won on appeal.
