Did someone say weekend away?

Iarnrod Eireann has introduced lower fares for students on major train routes across the country.

Using a Young Adult ticket, a student can travel from Waterford to Dublin for €7.20 return, Wexford to Dublin for €6.50 return, or Kilkenny to Galway for  €13.19 return.

Passengers will need a valid student ID, or TFI young Adult or Student Leap card to avail of these lower fares.

Many fares offer a flexibility option, which means you can cancel or amend your booking online at no extra cost up to 60 minutes before your departure time. There is also free seat allocation and free WIFI on board.

Passengers are advised fares can only be booked 90 days in advance.
