Maverick Sabre's ‘Unplugged’ Tour is coming to the south east this May.

4 Irish dates have been announced including Waterford and Kilkenny.

Fans of the east London-born, Wexford-raised singer, still just 23, eagerly anticipate a follow up to his 2012, Top 2, gold-selling debut, Lonely Are The Brave.

Since two years of touring his debut album, while also guesting on tours with Chase & Status, ended with a triumphant, headline, sold-out show at Brixton Academy in autumn 2012, the Brit Award nominee has been busy not just writing and recording the second album but constantly travelling, honing his craft along the way.

In the past 18 months Mav could be found in Bed Stuy in Brooklyn to Tuff Gong studios in Jamaica. He sang with an 80 piece orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, worked alongside Idris Elba in South Africa, and performed on Damon Albarn¹s legendary Africa Express show in France.

The music he's created for his second album is as well travelled and worldly as the locations suggest and takes in soul, reggae, hip-hop and rock.

Mav has worked with a variety of producers and artists on the album including Jamaican reggae star Chronixx, legendary British song writers and record producers Fraser T Smith and Eg White, 19 year old Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$ and producer Stephen McGregor-son of reggae legend Freddie on current single and urban chart topper Emotion.
