The stars of the historic Waterford Camogie panel enjoyed a wonderful turnout at the SETU Arena's supporter evening last night (Thursday, July 27).

Ahead of their upcoming All-Ireland Final clash with Cork in Croke Park on Sunday, August 6, Déise fans were invited to meet and greet the players.

A huge turnout of supporters made their way to the Arena for a 7:30 pm start, with an open training session kicking off proceedings.

Seán Power's side then took a break from training to engage with the crowd, posing for photographs, answering questions and offering advice to the future stars in the county.

There was a pop-up shop available, presenting everybody with the chance to stock up on their bunting and flags for their first All-Ireland Final appearance since 1945.

The girls secured their showpiece ticket with a dramatic victory over Tipperary at UPMC Nowlan Park.

In a titanic back-and-forth battle, Power's side produced an incredible second-half performance to see off a powerful Premier outfit by a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-11 in Kilkenny.

For Waterford, the O'Duffy Cup is one game away, and the prospect of glory in HQ is very close to realisation.
