Gardaí made a shocking traffic stop on the M9 between Kilkenny and Waterford yesterday.

Thomastown officers stopped this vehicle and a trailer at a checkpoint at Knocktopher.

Gardaí say the vehicle had come down the M9 from Kilkenny city.
