This weekends GAA Senior Club Championship fixtures

A look ahead to the region's GAA Senior Club Championship fixtures, including the mouthwatering meeting of Ballygunner and Mount Sion in the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship final.

 

Friday 9th September

There is one fixture to play out on Friday and it’s in the Dominic Smith Expert Electrical Wexford Senior Football Championship.

The meeting of Gusserane O’Rahilly’s v St. Martin’s gets underway in Bellefield at 7:30 pm.

 

Saturday 10th September

Starting in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Carlow Senior Football Championship; there are two games down for decision.

First up, it’s the meeting of Palatine and Old Leighlin at 5:30 pm in Netwatch Cullen Park.

That is immediately followed by the game between Ballinabranna and Éire Óg at 7:15 pm.

 

There’s one game in the Dominic Smith Expert Electrical Wexford Senior Football Championship.

Sarsfields v St. James’ gets underway in Grantstown at 5:45 pm.

 

Sunday 11th September

The game of the day is in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Waterford Senior Hurling Championship Final.

The highly anticipated meeting of Ballygunner v Mount Sion gets underway at 2:30 pm in Walsh Park. That will be Live on GAA BEO, TG4.

 

The FBD Insurance Tipperary Senior County Hurling Championship Preliminary round has two fixtures.

Clonoulty Rossmore v Thurles Sarsfields throws in at 1:00 pm in Holycross. 

While J K Brackens v Nenagh Eire Og has a 3:00 pm throw-in at FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles.

 

Moving to the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Carlow Senior Football Championship.

Tinryland v Bengalstown Gaels will be contested at Netwatch Cullen Park from 2:00 pm

That’s immediately followed by Rathvilly v Mt. Leinster Rangers at 3:45 pm.

 

Finally, in the Dominic Smith Expert Electrical Wexford Senior Football Championship, there are two doubleheaders.

Bellefield plays host to Kilanerin v Crossabeg/Ballymurn at 2:00 pm, immediately followed by Shelmaliers v HWH Bunclody at 3:45 pm.

Elsewhere, Monamolin has a 4:00 pm throw-in for Glynn-Barntown v Castletown and a 5:45 pm start for Starlights v St. Anne’s Rathangan.
